    Ensure development and delivery of strategically aligned programs, materials, and initiatives to support appropriate engagement and communications with the priority customer segments identified for Market Access department responsibility, e.g., Payers, PBMs, MCOs, IDNs, Professional Organizations, Oncology Benefit Managers, and Patient Advocacy Groups. Manage agency engagement, program development process flow, project review and approval, and budgeting.  Oversee Taiho Oncology, Inc., (TOI), memberships with key national professional organizations.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop print material, slide decks, media to communicate core messages aligned to fulfilling customer information needs.
    • Gain key customer segment insights to support marketing planning and message development
    • Coordinate with internal cross-functional partners to execute on initiative development, approval, and delivery.
    • Manage all agency relations, budgeting, and tactical plan development related to execution of marketing initiatives for Market Access.
    • Maintain and coordinate fulfillment of corporate membership benefits with professional organizations and advocacy groups, e.g.: Community Oncology Alliance, Colon Cancer Alliance, etc.
    • Communicate approved TOI information, materials and programs to respective internal and external departments / individuals.

     

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:   

    BA/BS degree in science and/or business-related discipline, or the equivalent.

     

    Experience: 

    • 4+ years’ oncology pharma / biotech experience.
    • 2+ years’ oncology marketing experience.
    • Development and execution of marketing tactical plans, including program and material development, approval and delivery.
    • Preference for experience with oncology payer marketing.
    • Preference for experience interfacing with oncology national / regional professional organizations.

    Other Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated interpersonal and professional communication skills.
    • Positive attitude, flexibility and a proactive approach.
    • Adept in working cross-functionally, team oriented.
    • Understanding of oncology, oral cancer product delivery, and the general cancer care macro-environment.
    • General understanding of oncology payer and payer influencer customer segment.
    • Process and budget management skills.
    • Learning agility to acquire solid product and disease state knowledge to facilitate effective customer communications.

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical-related data.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Computer Skills:

    Competency with Microsoft Office software applications and project management / tracking tools.

     

    Physical Demands: 

    Some overnight travel required (~10-20%).

     

    Work Environment: 

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
    • Position is home office based; Princeton, NJ.
